We all have helpful hints that may be shared with one another to make our creative efforts more enjoyable or productive. This page is currently under construction. • Always be sure to use a new pair of scissors for each activity. Because of this, you won’t have to waste time looking for your one or two pairs of shoes each time you need them.
• Make sure that you have all of the various varieties of adhesive that you need for your tasks. Paper glue is not an adequate replacement for fabric adhesive.
• You should label all of your boxes and containers so that you can immediately determine what is included in each one. And provide examples. If a single box contains many things, you should list all of those items on either the side or the top of the box.
• There is no need to be concerned about leaving objects that are used often out on your work table. My pin cushions, tape measures, chalk markers, and scissors are all stored in a basket that is conveniently located on my quilting table. When I’m not quilting, everything is going to be protected from the dust thanks to the cover I created for it.
• A piece of advice that was given to us by our friend Sharon was as follows: “I always have a shopping list next to my work table.” I add an item to the list if I see that I am becoming short on glue, pins, or any other resource. My trips to my preferred craft shop are more productive, and I avoid situations in which I am forced to stop working because I have run out of materials. – Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction!
